FPS 2008 Golf Day
The competition is open to everyone and will be individual Stableford (7/8 ths handicap allowance). Play will be in three’s with tee off from 9.00am. Breakfast Rolls and tea/coffee will be provided before play, with soup & sandwiches afterwards.
Druids Glen Golf Course is located in Co Wicklow, 30 minutes drive from the RDS, south of Dublin. Known as “the Augusta of Europe”, the parkland in Druids Glen Golf Course was designed by Pat Ruddy & Tom Craddock, opened in 1985 and was the home of the Irish Open in 1996, 97, 98 and 99, with Colin Montgomerie winning twice. In 1999, Sergio Garcia won his first professional tournament worldwide with a dramatic Irish Open victory at Druids Glen.
